Chris Carr - Director

Chris takes hands-on responsibility for all our projects. He has been involved on a wide variety of business strategy projects and corporate finance transactions, predominantly with owner managed businesses. He focuses on three areas - finance raisng, mergers & acquisitions, and sale mandates. He has been involved on transactions with deal values from £250,000 to over £100 million.

Chris has detailed knowledge of the Private Equity market and substantial experience of strategic planning, being a member of the Strategic Planning Society. He is often involved on Technology sector deals.

Chris trained as a Chartered Accountant with a major City firm. Having qualified in 1979, he moved to a smaller West End practice to set up their Management Services Division. He subsequently joined a top 25 City based firm called Fraser Russell, running their Corporate Finance and Consultancy Service for 12 years. The firm merged into Baker Tilly in July 2000 and Chris became a Corporate Finance Partner. He left in April 2003 in order to establish Celarben Ventures.
